How I create a Mira Nocturne Song – Part 2

In this video I go over the post production steps I go through to mix and master an AI song I generated with SunoAI.

    1. Create stems on Suno
    2. Download wav files of stems and the complete song.
    3. Import into Reaper and use a template that I have already set up for the specific persona that is complete with fx templates.
    4. Use Spleeter to split up the “instruments” stem from Suno to break it down into the drums, bass and guitars.
    5. Normalize all stem files.
    6. Edit the files if necessary to weed out any unwanted frequencies and to clean up the mix.
    7. Play with it til it sounds good.
    8. Render a high quaility wav file to be converted to a flac file later.

  • The Story of the song – “Come Home to Me”

The Story of the song – “Come Home to Me”

    **Summary:**

The song “Come Home to Me” is about a woman who is struggling with the absence of her husband who is a long haul truck driver. The lyrics convey a sense of longing and desperation as she navigates the challenges of being apart from him. Written from her pov, she is trying to hold on to hope and love, but it’s wearing thin. The song is a heartfelt plea for an absent loved one to return home and end the pain and hardship.

** The 3 Key Elements of the Story:**

    • **Physical Distance vs. Emotional Distance**: The lyrics highlight the contrast between the physical distance separating the narrator from her loved one and the emotional distance that’s just as debilitating. She feels lost without her partner, and even small reminders, like photos or seeing trucks on the road, only serve to deepen the ache.

    • **The Weight of Parenting Responsibilities**: The song mentions “managing chaos” and wearing a “thousand hats,” indicating that she’s shouldering a heavy burden as a parent. This adds an extra layer of emotional complexity to their situation, making it harder for them to cope without her husbands’s physical support.

    • **The Power of Love and Hope**: Despite the challenges and heartache, the song remains hopeful and redemptive. The woman of the story whispers love to the wind, carries their emotions across miles, and pleads with the husband to return home safely. This emphasis on love and hope underscores the idea that even in the darkest moments, connection and redemption is possible.
